Lisa Walsh is a glass artist who lives in Lafayette, Indiana. Her work includes jewelry, ornaments, and desk accessories such as pens, stylus, letter openers and magnifying glasses. Lisa uses a lampworking technique to form her glass. Using soda-lime glass rods and a torch, she heats the glass to approximately 1400 degrees Fahrenheit to make it soft enough to form. After creating the beads Lisa makes her jewelry with either sterling silver or gold-fill. Her miniature ornaments are about the size of a quarter, and are filled with tiny shells and accented with sterling silver.
