Pamela says, "Painting is my response to the environment. Capturing a moment in nature on canvas is an ever-changing process that sharpens my awareness of all that surrounds me.
Nature provides an abundance of subjects and ideas for painting. Intricate shapes and the interchange of light and color with the shapes found in nature help stimulate the imagination. I take these natural settings and apply my own stylized view in my paintings.
My paintings of natural objects hopefully will engage the viewer with an increased awareness of their own surroundings."
